The UCR School of Public Policy proudly announces its participation in the Service to Service Initiative! Service to Service is a national initiative that encourages veterans, active duty, and military-connected family members to earn a Master of Public Policy.
Through Service to Service, we will work with the Volcker Alliance, We the Veterans and Military Families, and 28 other schools of public service and policy to increase awareness of public service career opportunities among the military community, enroll military-connected students in master’s programs, and connect initiative participants to state and local government roles following degree attainment.

This opportunity is only open to enrolled Master of Public Policy students.

Requirements and Benefits
Schools are looking for all of the following attributes:
- Candidates interested in mission driven work at the state and local level: from those just beginning to consider a career in public service, to those who are looking to advance in their current public service career.
- Recent undergrads of military dependents to mid-and-senior-level military retirees looking for a purpose-driven career, all are welcome
Service to Service Fellows receive:
- Specialized academic and career advising
- Financial packages in addition to the GI Bill and Cal Vet Fee waiver
- A community of military veterans and military-connected students
- Networking opportunities
