This fund is used to support UCR students who attend the University of California Washington Center Program (UCDC).

Hundred-Thousand Dreams Miriam Fadel Scholarship Fund in Public Policy

This fund provides scholarship support to Public Policy undergraduate or graduate students. Annually, 50% is allocated to recruiting new students as part of their admissions package in the form of a scholarship, and the other 50% shall be allocated to current students.

Notably, Underground Scholars Initiative was awarded this year's CIT Mental Health Equity Grant, where I led the grant writing process and continued to plan wellness workshops for students at large. In like manner, my volunteer role provides learning opportunities such as leadership, organizing, community education, and networking. The SPP scholarship also gave me more time to focus on my qualitative research studying housing insecurity in the Inland Empire."
