On the latest episode of Policy Chats, Angelo Farooq discusses with students from the UC Riverside School of Public Policy the challenges of reopening schools in the fall.
Farooq is a school board member at the Riverside Unified School District. According to his profile, he “serves as the Chairman of the California Workforce Development Board and has been an appointee of the Governor on the board since 2013. As Chairman, he leads the largest workforce development system in the country under the vision of the Governor & Secretary of Labor.”
“Dr. Farooq provided an immense amount of insight on the plethora of factors school districts are considering in preparation for returning to campus in the fall,” said Maddie Bunting, who served as co-host for the latest episode. “His passion for public education is very apparent in the episode as well as his hope for the future.”
