On Thursday, November 19th, the UCR School of Public Policy will host a panel discussion focused on COVID-19 with experts from UCR and UC Merced. This panel will examine areas in which the pandemic and the response to it are having a significant impact, and offer some policy recommendations for moving forward.

Panelists include:

“The COVID-19 Panel hosted by the School of Public Policy is crucial so that we can continue to have conversations centered around the impacts of this pandemic,” said Daisy Gonzalez, fourth-year public policy student. “This is an opportunity for us to come together as a community to discuss our experiences and how we can support one another.

The event will be moderated by Founding Dean of the UCR School of Public Policy and professor of economics, Anil Deolalikar.

This event is open to the general public. Attendees must register to attend. Registrants will receive an email in advance of the event with a link to join. 

Since 2014, the UCR School of Public Policy Seminar Series has been bringing policy makers, practitioners, and researchers to campus to talk about various policy issues facing the region and beyond.
