The UCR School of Public Policy will host various sessions for prospective applicants for its Master of Public Policy (MPP) program on Tuesday, October 13th through Friday, October 16th as part of UCR’s Graduate Open House.
The virtual sessions throughout the week offer interested candidates an opportunity to meet the Dean, academic advisor, faculty, and current MPP students.
All attendees will receive a $30 application discount.
“The master's degree program at the UCR School of Public Policy is preparing the next generation of leaders within the Inland Empire and the state,” said Alfredo Barcenas, second-year MPP student. “Joining the program has allowed me to expand my skills, learn more about current issues through data and explore ways on how I will be able to make that difference in my local community and beyond."
Laura Shah, another second-year MPP student, said, “I chose the UCR MPP Program because of the potential job opportunity found through the summer internship requirement. In addition, the program has helped me figure out what line of work I am interested in pursuing as a career choice.”
Attendees must register to attend, with options for RSVPingfor multiple sessions. Registrants will receive a confirmation with the Zoom link(s) to log into their confirmed sessions. All sessions are scheduled to run one hour, unless noted otherwise.
