On Wednesday, January 15th, the School of Public Policy will be hosting the Director of External Affairs for AT&T, Julio Figueroa. In this seminar, he will discuss legislations and policies impacting communications, small cell and macro site deployment, 5G, and FirstNet.
The event will be held at the University of California, Riverside in INTS 1113 on Wednesday, January 15th, 2020 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Julio Figueroa is currently the Director of External Affairs for AT&T. As a director, his responsibilities include government relations, community outreach and corporate philanthropy in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Mr. Figueroa is very involved in his community by supporting many organizations that include the NAACP Riverside, United Way, Project Fighting Chance, Campfire, Music Changing Lives and Young Visionaries Leadership Academy. He also sits on the Board of Directors for the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce, The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce, The Janet Goeske Foundation and The Riverside Fox Theater Foundation. Mr. Figueroa is also a new addition to our SPP Advisory Board.
“As a public policy student, I love to learn about the different career paths we can pursue. Corporate responsibility is incredibly important and I would love to be a part of the movement for more corporate philanthropy in Riverside County,” said Daisy Gonzalez, a third year public policy student.
